Key Responsibilities:
- Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients to secure new business deals.
- Generate sales leads through proactive cold calls and internet research.
- Handle freight negotiation & provide quotations to customers
- Ensure timely and effective communication by checking and following up on emails.
- Collaborate with carriers and customers for seamless operational coordination.
- Handle general data entry tasks using Local and Google software.
- Implement digital media and new marketing strategies and maintain a vibrant market presence.
Skills Required:
- Fast learning ability to promptly understand basic logistics/supply chain movements and develop an understanding of changing market conditions and industry dynamics.
- Excellent sales negotiation skills.
- Proficiency and fluency in professional / sales communication through speech and E-mail.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including data entry and software applications.
- Strong business mindset with a proactive thinking approach.
- Experience in marketing and social media / digital media platforms (maintaining a good online presence, familiarity with marketing techniques and generating posts and updates)
