JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, automating, deploying, monitoring and administering our applications' infrastructure
· You will take responsibility for the availability, performance, infrastructure security and scalability of our product
· You will develop different plans, policies, procedures and automation processes
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
· At least 3 years experience as a DevOps/Network/System engineer in a scalable production environment
· Experience in SVN/GIT is a must
· Experience in managing cloud-based environments (AWS/Azure)
· Deployment and advanced configuration of Windows Server
· A good understanding of how LAN/ WAN / VSAT devices such as routers, switches, firewalls etc. work
· Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
· Strong background in WindowsLinux administration and architecture
· Skills to build smart, efficient automation capabilities using appropriate languages or tools - e.g. Python, Ruby, Bash scripts etc..
· Expert in continuous integration, build, test, release and deployment and comfortable with environments like Jenkins, GitHub
· Designed and Developed a system for monitoring, altering and reporting
· Experience with various databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MSSQL
· Experience working in a 24×7 production operations
· Great attitude and a desire to have your work make a big impact to the teams and organization
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to work in a virtual environment, working from home and interacting with developers in different locations
