Financial Planning & Analysis - Pakistan

Based in Karachi, this role at EY presents a valuable opportunity for a finance professional to grow within a globally connected and diverse team. As EY expands its Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Analysis (PBFA) capabilities across the MENA region, the Senior Associate / Supervising Associate will play a vital role in supporting the Service Line PBFA Lead. The position focuses on delivering high-quality financial planning, performance reporting, analytics, and business insights. It is instrumental in enhancing financial performance visibility, identifying trends, supporting planning cycles, and enabling business leaders to make informed decisions through detailed financial analysis and modelling.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Service Line PBFA Lead in budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting, and financial planning activities.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the annual FP&A cycle, business drivers, and service line performance metrics.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to generate insights on revenue, profitability, utilization, margins, and other key business indicators.
- Prepare financial reports, dashboards, scorecards, and presentations for leadership review.
- Build and maintain financial models to support scenario planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting financial performance.
- Manage ad-hoc reporting and analytical requests across the service line.
- Collaborate with Finance, Experience Management, Talent, Markets, and GDS teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives, reporting enhancements, and automation projects.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for financial analysis, reporting, and modelling requests within the business.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial reporting, business finance, commercial finance, or financial analysis.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Power BI.
- Experience handling large datasets, financial reporting, and performance analysis.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and extract meaningful insights.
- Advanced financial modelling and business analysis capabilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
