Sampling Man For Hoisery

Fifty Fourtex seeks a detail-oriented Sampling Man for Hosiery with at least 5 years of experience to join our production team. The ideal candidate is skilled in fabric inspection, sample making, measurement and sizing, as well as pattern making and grading specifically tailored to the hosiery industry. This role demands a deep understanding of all specialized machinery used in sample creation and the ability to work independently as a key contributor within the hosiery department. As a Sampling Man, you will be central to ensuring that product samples meet quality and design standards before full-scale production. You act as a vital link between design and manufacturing, translating design concepts into physical samples that accurately reflect quality expectations. While you will not manage a team, your role requires effective communication skills to coordinate closely with various stakeholders and ensure clarity throughout the sampling process.
Responsibilities

Inspect fabric quality rigorously to ensure compliance with production standards before sample creation.
Produce accurate and high-quality hosiery samples using specialized machinery and tools.
Perform precise measurement and sizing tasks to guarantee samples meet design specifications.
Create and grade patterns that align with design and fit requirements for different hosiery products.
Collaborate with design and production teams to communicate sample adjustments and improvements.
Maintain thorough documentation of sample development steps and modifications for reference.
Operate and maintain all special machinery involved in the sample-making process, ensuring efficient and safe usage.
Identify and resolve sample production issues promptly to minimize delays in the production cycle.
Stay updated on new techniques and machinery relevant to hosiery sample making to improve quality and efficiency.
Ensure samples adhere to company quality standards, enabling smooth progression to bulk manufacturing.
