Join our team at Deskfrnd, where we prioritize exceptional customer service for our UK clientele. We're looking for a Customer Service Representative who can deliver top-notch support and build relationships.

Role Overview:

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll serve as the frontline communicator with our clients, handling phone conversations with professionalism and empathy. In addition to providing excellent customer support, you'll be responsible for basic billing tasks, including generating invoices and ensuring accurate billing information. Your ability to effectively communicate and manage billing inquiries will be essential in maintaining positive client relationships and contributing to the smooth operation of our business.

In this role, you'll be tasked with managing various aspects of the quoting process, from initial inquiry to final proposal. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Job Load Management:
  • Efficiently handling incoming inquiries and requests from clients regarding quotes.
  • Prioritizing tasks and managing workload to ensure timely responses to inquiries.
  • Liaising with internal teams to gather necessary information and resources for preparing quotes.

Quote Built-Up:

  • Analyzing client requirements and specifications to accurately build up quotes.
  • Calculating costs, including materials, labor, and overhead, to determine pricing.
  • Utilizing pricing models or software tools to generate accurate and competitive quotes.
  • Ensuring quotes align with company pricing strategies and profitability goals.

Quotation Overview:

  • Providing clients with comprehensive overviews of proposed quotes, including breakdowns of costs and services.
  • Communicating effectively with clients to address any questions or concerns they may have regarding the quotes.
  • Following up with clients to obtain feedback and make any necessary adjustments to quotes.
  • Collaborating with sales and account management teams to finalize quotations and secure business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with a strong command of UK English.
  • Previous experience in a customer support or similar role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in basic invoicing and billing procedures.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
