The Credit Officer at FFO Support Program plays a crucial role in assessing and managing credit risk by evaluating loan applications and monitoring existing credit portfolios. This position requires a strong foundation in loan underwriting, customer relationship management, and portfolio management to ensure the delivery of sound financial services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, determining creditworthiness, and maintaining professional relationships with clients to promote financial inclusion and sustainable lending practices. This role is suitable for candidates with at least one year of experience and a minimum qualification of F.A. Local candidates from Gujranwala are preferred, and the program encourages applications from women and freshers to foster a diverse and inclusive workforce.
Responsibilities

  • Evaluate loan applications by analyzing financial information and credit reports to determine creditworthiness and make informed lending decisions.
  • Manage customer relationships by providing guidance on loan products, addressing inquiries, and ensuring excellent client service throughout the loan lifecycle.
  • Monitor and manage the credit portfolio to identify potential risks, ensure timely repayments, and maintain portfolio quality.
  • Conduct field visits and client interviews to gather relevant financial and business information to support loan underwriting decisions.
  • Prepare detailed credit proposals and reports for review and approval, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline credit processes and improve overall operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the loan portfolio while maintaining risk at acceptable levels.
  • Support financial literacy and awareness initiatives to help clients better understand loan products and promote responsible borrowing.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all credit transactions and client communications in accordance with organizational standards.
  • Stay updated on market trends, credit policies, and regulatory changes affecting the lending environment to provide relevant advice and take proactive measures.
