Tekboox is looking for a Female Patient Support Representative to join their team, focusing on serving patients within the US healthcare market. This role is well-suited for fresh graduates holding a Pharm-D or degrees related to healthcare or health sciences, as well as candidates with up to two years of experience in patient services or healthcare administration. The position requires direct communication with US-based patients through multiple channels, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The role is based onsite in Lahore and operates during night shift hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound communication including calls, emails, and chats from patients located in the United States.
- Assist patients with scheduling, confirming appointments, and conducting timely follow-ups.
- Verify patient demographics and insurance information accurately to ensure smooth processing.
- Provide patients with clear guidance on treatment procedures, billing inquiries, and insurance coverage details.
- Collaborate efficiently with healthcare providers, billing teams, and other internal departments to resolve patient issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using CRM and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and other relevant US healthcare regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
- Deliver empathetic, professional, and solution-oriented support to patients, enhancing their overall experience.
Required Qualifications
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to two years of experience in patient services, front desk operations, or healthcare administration.
- Practical knowledge of patient scheduling, insurance verification, and prior authorization processes.
- Basic understanding of referral workflows and general healthcare operations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills paired with excellent customer service abilities.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the US healthcare system, including insurance providers and healthcare regulations.
- Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Proficient English communication skills, both spoken and written, to interact seamlessly with US patients and healthcare professionals.
Job Location & Work Schedule
- Location: DHA Phase 3, Y Block, Lahore
- Shift Timing: Night shift from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM
- Work Mode: Onsite, five days a week
