Accounts Officer/ Accountant - Female

Fatima Rice Mills (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Accounts Officer/Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in financial reporting, bank reconciliation, and the preparation of financial statements. This role requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a solid understanding of accounting principles. The position is open to candidates holding a graduation or master's degree in a relevant field and with at least one year of practical experience. The successful candidate will work independently, as team management is not part of this role, and will contribute directly to maintaining accurate and timely financial records essential for the companys operations.
Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including daily transactions, ledgers, and journals.
Perform bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between company records and bank statements.
Develop and generate financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow reports according to standard accounting practices.
Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and present financial data effectively for reporting and decision-making purposes.
Support internal audits and coordinate with auditors during financial reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable financial regulations and accounting standards to ensure company compliance.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate historical financial data and relevant insights.
Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and support overall business objectives.
Monitor accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues promptly to maintain data integrity.
