Fast Products Distributions seeks a detail-oriented and experienced E-commerce Catalog Specialist to join our team. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in managing product information, ensuring the accuracy of data, and maintaining a robust online catalog across various e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate holds at least a bachelor’s degree and demonstrates proven expertise in product information management, coupled with strong proficiency in content management systems and inventory management. As an individual contributor, this position does not include team management responsibilities but plays a crucial role in supporting our digital storefront and enhancing the customer shopping experience. The E-commerce Catalog Specialist is responsible for maintaining and updating the product catalog to ensure that all product details are accurate, up-to-date, and presented in an appealing manner. This position collaborates closely with marketing and supply chain teams to manage product listings, resolve discrepancies, and optimize product visibility online. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently within fast-paced e-commerce operations are key to success in this role.


Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update product information across various e-commerce platforms to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Manage input and maintenance of product data by using content management systems and product information management tools.
  • Conduct regular audits of the product catalog to identify and correct inaccuracies or inconsistencies in product descriptions, pricing, and availability.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, marketing, and inventory teams to gather accurate product information and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper categorization and organization of products within the catalog for optimal user experience and search functionality.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to update stock availability regularly in the online system.
  • Support the launch of new product lines by preparing and uploading detailed product data and multimedia content as needed.
  • Analyze catalog performance metrics and recommend improvements to increase product visibility and customer engagement.
  • Maintain knowledge of e-commerce trends and platform capabilities to continuously improve catalog management processes.
  • Document catalog management procedures and best practices to ensure knowledge retention and training efficiency.
