WordPress Designer

As a WordPress Designer, you will be responsible for designing and building user-friendly and visually appealing websites using WordPress. You will work closely with clients or internal teams to understand their requirements and translate these into functional, responsive, and aesthetically pleasing web designs.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Design and Development:

Design and develop responsive and user-friendly websites using WordPress.
Customize WordPress themes to meet specific client requirements.
Create site layout/user interfaces using standard HTML/CSS practices.

Theme and Plugin Integration:

Install and configure WordPress themes and plugins.
Customize themes and plugins to add functionality and enhance user experience.
Ensure compatibility across various platforms and browsers.

Content Management:

Upload, edit, and manage content using the WordPress CMS.
Optimize website content for SEO and accessibility.
Maintain website content to ensure accuracy and relevance.

Graphic Design:

Create graphics, logos, and other visual elements as needed.
Edit and enhance images for website use.

User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI):

Focus on creating intuitive and attractive user interfaces.
Conduct user research and usability testing to improve the design.

Performance Optimization:

Optimize website performance, including load times and responsiveness.
Implement best practices for site speed and performance.

Troubleshooting and Support:

Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to the website.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for websites.

Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other team members.
Present design ideas and prototypes to stakeholders for feedback.
Keep up with industry trends and best practices to incorporate new technologies and design trends.

Required Skills:

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS, including theme and plugin development.
Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles.

Design Skills:

Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD).
Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.

Other Skills:

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of SEO best practices.
Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap).
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Basic knowledge of web hosting and domain management.
