Falah Virtual Academy, a pioneering online international Islamic school serving students from KG1 to Grade 7, seeks a passionate and experienced Online Mathematics Teacher to join its remote teaching team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging mathematics lessons that foster strong foundational knowledge and encourage mathematical thinking through project-based learning and practical applications. This role requires adherence to the Academy's curriculum and the ability to communicate effectively in an online learning environment. While the position does not involve managing a team, it offers the opportunity to contribute to the academic growth of young learners by creating a supportive, interactive, and stimulating virtual classroom experience. As an Online Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering age-appropriate mathematics lessons to primary and middle school students. You will utilize a variety of teaching methods, including activities, projects, and discussions, to stimulate reasoning and problem-solving skills beyond rote memorization. Monitoring student progress, providing timely feedback, and communicating with parents professionally are critical aspects of the role. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelors degree in Mathematics or Education, have at least one year of experience teaching children, and demonstrate familiarity with online teaching tools and techniques. Experience with international curricula and project-based learning are desirable assets that will support the Academys educational philosophy.
Responsibilities

Plan and conduct engaging online mathematics lessons for students from KG1 to Grade 7, aligned with the Falah Virtual Academy curriculum.
Develop and implement project-based learning activities that enhance practical understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
Encourage and nurture mathematical reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills through interactive lessons and discussions.
Prepare and administer assignments, quizzes, and assessments that accurately measure student comprehension and progress.
Monitor, document, and evaluate student performance regularly to tailor instruction and support individual learning needs.
Provide constructive and timely feedback to students to guide their learning and development in mathematics.
Maintain professional and clear communication with parents to report on student progress and address any concerns or questions.
Contribute innovative ideas to improve lesson plans, teaching strategies, and overall student engagement within the mathematics curriculum.
Utilize reliable technology and maintain a stable online teaching environment suited to the needs of remote learners.
Promote a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere that respects the diverse backgrounds of students.
Participate in the Academy's selection process, including teaching demonstrations as required, to showcase instructional capabilities.
