Local Market Procurement Executive

Faisal Movers is seeking a dedicated Local Market Procurement Executive with approximately three years of experience in procurement or purchasing within the local market. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing supplier relationships, conducting market research, and ensuring the procurement process aligns with company goals and compliance standards. This role requires a strong understanding of local market dynamics, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to operate efficiently under pressure to meet urgent procurement demands.

Responsibilities

Handle local market procurement based on approved material demands.
Source materials, spare parts, and other required items from the local market.
Identify and develop reliable local suppliers/vendors.
Obtain and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
Negotiate prices, quality, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure timely procurement and delivery of required materials.
Coordinate with Warehouse, Accounts, Operations, and Procurement teams.
Maintain proper records of quotations, purchase orders, suppliers, and purchases.
Verify the quality and quantity of purchased items before delivery/acceptance.
Monitor pending purchases and follow up with suppliers for timely delivery.
Ensure procurement is carried out according to company policies and approved procedures.
Prepare regular procurement, price comparison, and supplier performance reports.
