Import Procurement Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Import Procurement Specialist with extensive knowledge of sourcing and importing automotive spare parts. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in the procurement and import of bus, truck, car, motorcycle, and commercial vehicle spare parts, along with a strong understanding of international suppliers, import procedures, and customs documentation.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure automotive spare parts from local and international suppliers.
- Manage the complete import procurement cycle, including supplier negotiations, purchase orders, and shipment coordination.
- Handle import documentation, including LCs, shipping documents, invoices, packing lists, and customs clearance.
- Maintain strong relationships with international vendors and freight forwarders.
- Ensure timely availability of spare parts while optimizing cost and quality.
- Monitor inventory requirements and coordinate with technical and workshop teams.
- Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and import regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience in import procurement of automotive spare parts.
- Strong product knowledge of bus, truck, car, motorcycle, and commercial vehicle spare parts.
- Excellent understanding of import procedures, customs regulations, and international sourcing.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/procurement systems.
Preferred Experience:
Candidates with experience in the transportation, automotive, heavy vehicles, or commercial fleet industry will be given preference.
