Assistant Manager – Internal Audit

Faisal Movers is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Manager for Internal Audit to enhance the company's audit functions and internal control systems. This role demands a professional with a strong background in auditing financial records, operational processes, and evaluating compliance within the transportation industry or similar sectors. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree or MBA in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or an equivalent field and have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in internal audit. Proficiency in MS Excel and audit reporting tools is essential, along with a comprehensive understanding of internal controls, risk assessment, and compliance management. The Assistant Manager will conduct thorough operational and financial audits across various departments, aiming to identify potential risks and inefficiencies. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess the adequacy of existing controls and recommend enhancements. Collaborating closely with management, the incumbent will prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings and actionable recommendations to drive continuous improvement in internal control systems. Although this role does not involve managing a team, the candidate must demonstrate independence and accountability in executing audit activities and following up on corrective measures.
Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive operational and financial audits across multiple departments to ensure adherence to policies and identify areas of risk.
Evaluate internal control frameworks and assess their effectiveness in mitigating operational and financial risks.
Verify compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures to uphold organizational standards.
Prepare clear, concise, and detailed audit reports, presenting findings, assessments, and recommendations for improvement.
Monitor and follow up on the implementation of corrective actions to guarantee resolution of audit issues and compliance gaps.
Collaborate with management teams to develop and enhance internal control systems and risk management processes.
Analyze data related to financial transactions, operational activities, and audit findings to support informed decision-making.
Utilize advanced MS Excel skills and audit software to perform data analysis and generate comprehensive reports.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices, especially within the transportation sector.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and recommending practical solutions.
