As the Corporate & Government Affairs Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance the company's reputation, manage government relations, and navigate regulatory landscapes. Reporting directly to the [appropriate executive], you will collaborate cross-functionally to engage with internal and external stakeholders, including government officials, industry associations, and advocacy groups. Your role will be critical in positioning Fair Technologies Asia as a responsible corporate entity while effectively addressing regulatory challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

    Government Relations:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key government officials and agencies to influence public policy and regulatory outcomes.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments, providing timely analysis and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Represent the company in industry associations and participate in advocacy initiatives.

   Corporate Reputation Management:

  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance the company's reputation, ensuring alignment with its values and objectives.
  • Serve as a spokesperson for the company in interactions with the media and other external stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate reputational risks.

   Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including NGOs, community organizations, and industry partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align external communications with corporate values and objectives.

Policy Development and Compliance:

  • Work closely with legal and compliance teams to develop policies that ensure adherence to relevant regulations and ethical standards.
  • Provide guidance on compliance matters and implement programs to foster a culture of integrity within the organization.
  • Equip the company with required licenses and permits to function as a legal entity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Relations, Business, Law, or a related field. Advanced degree will be preferred.
  • Atleast 15 years of experience in corporate affairs, government relations, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully navigating complex regulatory environments and achieving positive outcomes.
  • A retired officer from the military, PAS or relevant department will be preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the legislative and political landscape, with the ability to anticipate and respond to emerging issues.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
