Extrusion Manager

This full-time, on-site position based in Lahore, Pakistan, offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead extrusion operations during the morning shift. The role focuses on managing extrusion, slitting, and lamination processes while ensuring production targets are met efficiently. The successful candidate will drive improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), maintain high-quality standards, reduce wastage, and implement Lean and Kaizen methodologies to optimize costs and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily extrusion, slitting, and lamination production activities to meet established targets.
- Monitor and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to maximize operational efficiency.
- Ensure consistent product quality by enforcing quality control measures throughout the manufacturing process.
- Identify and implement strategies to reduce material wastage and minimize production costs.
- Lead Lean and Kaizen initiatives to foster continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production goals with business objectives.
- Manage and motivate the production team to maintain high performance and adherence to safety standards.
- Prepare and analyze production reports to track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, with a strong focus on plastic manufacturing processes.
- Proven expertise in managing extrusion, slitting, and lamination operations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead Lean/Kaizen initiatives and drive cost optimization.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in monitoring production metrics such as OEE and quality indicators.
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
