  • Provides nursing care to the patient under the supervision of the Nurse Manager (NM) both directly and indirectly.
  • Monitoring and administering medication and intravenous infusions.
  • Ensure Nursing Care Plan is updated and documented on regular basis.
  • Resolves or report patient problems and needs by utilizing a multidisciplinary team approach.
  • Perform clinical nursing procedures based on policies and procedures of Evercare Hospital Lahore (EHL).
  • Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients / families.
  • May required significant standing, walking and lifting heavy weights including patient.
  • Foster development of nursing staff to maximum potential. Collaborate with Nursing Education Services (NES) in the identification of staff learning needs, program presentation, and learning resource development.
  • Maintains exposure to X-rays, Sharps and Infectious diseases and potentially violent patients.
  • Ensures their allocated tasks are completed properly and in a timely manner.
  • Present in a clean and professional appearance, uniform must be well maintained and kept clean.
  • Attend unit meetings and teaching sessions.
  • Implement and monitor infection control policies.
  • Coordinates with other departments for maintenance of equipment, ensuring proper functions and cleanliness of units
  • Report and record any problems/ incidents to Nurse Manager (NM) promptly.
  • Maintain a regular stock of supplies / par level in unit and initiatives requisitions on daily / weekly basis.
  • Act as role model for all staff. e.g .technical, communication / attitude, dress code and hygiene, punctuality and attendance, loyalty towards EHL, sense of belonging and proactive in solving unit issues.
  • Facilitate and supervise the staff in planning / implementation optimal patient care and in performing nursing procedures ensuring that goals and objectives are achieved efficiently.
  • Make clinical round and give teaching to the staff concern at the same time ensuring efficient completion of tasks with time frame.
  • Ensure the availability of medicines maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the medicine trolley adhere to principles, procedures and policies of medication administration and documentation.
  • Take/ give report to shift supervisor with particular attention to patient related issues, census and staffing.
  • Make daily rounds of unit to monitor the quality of the patient care, and environment and to ensure that patient’s regimens are being accurately followed.
  • Ensure the timely documentation of nursing interventions and patient responses.
  • Consult with Nurse Manager (NM) regularly regarding unit management affairs.
