Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy & Direction:

    • Develop and implement a strategic product roadmap that aligns with the brand’s vision and goals.

    • Identify and explore new product categories and opportunities to expand the product line.

    • Lead the development of product line direction, ensuring each product fits within the overall brand aesthetics and market positioning.

  • Trend Research & Market Analysis:

    • Conduct comprehensive market research and trend analysis to identify emerging opportunities in the home decor industry.

    • Analyze competitor products and market strategies to stay ahead in the market.

    • Translate trend insights into actionable product ideas and strategies.

  • Product Line Development:

    • Collaborate with the design and procurement teams to develop new products that resonate with target customers.

    • Oversee product sourcing and ensure alignment with brand quality standards and aesthetics.

    • Work closely with suppliers on platforms like 1688 to negotiate terms and ensure timely product development.

  • Buyer Persona Development & Analysis:

    • Define and develop buyer personas based on data and research, understanding customer needs, behaviors, and preferences.

    • Use insights from buyer persona analysis to guide product development and marketing strategies.

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns that resonate with key customer segments.

  • Product Performance & Optimization:

    • Monitor product performance and sales data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

    • Implement strategies to maximize product profitability and customer satisfaction.

    • Manage product lifecycle, including planning for product launches, seasonal updates, and discontinuations.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with marketing, design, and sales teams to ensure cohesive product strategies and successful product launches.

    • Communicate product vision and strategy across the organization to align team efforts.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in eCommerce product management, trend research, or related fields.

  • Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms like Shopify and 1688, with proven experience in product sourcing and management.

  • Excellent analytical and research skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.

  • Experience in developing and executing product strategies and roadmaps.

  • Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Fluent in English and Chinese (both written and spoken) is highly preferred.

  • Creative, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
