We're looking for a fullstack PHP developer to help us modernize a legacy IPTV middleware, originally built with the now-deprecated Silex microframework. While you don’t need prior Silex experience, you should be comfortable working with unfamiliar code and open to learning.
You’ll help refactor this project into a modern Laravel or Symfony structure and ensure it continues to run smoothly in a Dockerized environment with Nginx and MySQL.
Requirements:
- Solid PHP skills
- Experience with Laravel or Symfony
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Linux server administration, Git, and Docker-based setups
- Experience with Nginx
- Willingness to learn legacy code (Silex), IPTV streaming concepts, and backend/frontend integration
Bonus Skills (Optional):
- Familiarity with IPTV or video streaming protocols (HLS, MPEG-TS)
- Ability to read or debug simple C/C++ code
- Frontend frameworks (Vue.js, React, etc.)
- HTML5 development experience, especially for smart TVs (e.g. WebOS, Tizen)
