Eswap Technologies (Private) Limited is seeking a skilled Production Manager to lead and oversee the entire E-Bike assembly operations. This role requires developing and executing effective production plans to meet stringent quality, cost, and delivery goals. The Production Manager manages a dedicated team of five professionals and works closely with departments such as Procurement, Quality Control, and Research and Development to ensure seamless and efficient production cycles. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in mechanical, electrical, automotive, or industrial engineering, with substantial experience in electric bike or related vehicle assembly, and proven leadership capabilities. The successful candidate is responsible for establishing and enforcing standard operating procedures, conducting quality inspections, and maintaining workplace safety. This position involves hands-on involvement in scheduling assembly processes for batteries, motors, wiring, and other components while maintaining inventory controls to minimize waste. The Production Manager also drives continuous improvement initiatives by applying lean manufacturing principles and leveraging ERP systems where applicable, fostering a productive and motivated workforce through effective training and supervision.
Responsibilities

Lead the planning, scheduling, and coordination of E-Bike assembly operations to ensure meeting quality, cost, and delivery targets.
Monitor and control the assembly processes of key components including batteries, motors, and wiring to guarantee production efficiency and product reliability.
Develop, implement, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and quality control measures to maintain high production standards.
Coordinate with Procurement, Quality Control, and Research and Development teams to secure timely availability of materials and to resolve any production issues.
Train, supervise, and manage a team of five assembly staff, overseeing shift schedules, performance evaluations, and professional development.
Manage inventory levels to optimize resource utilization, reduce wastage, and ensure smooth production flow.
Prepare detailed and accurate production reports on a regular basis for senior management review.
Apply lean manufacturing techniques to eliminate inefficiencies and enhance production throughput.
Utilize ERP systems to monitor production status, inventory, and resource allocation effectively.
Troubleshoot and resolve production challenges promptly to maintain consistent workflow.
