Eswap Technologies (Private) Limited is seeking a dedicated Production Manager/ Assistant Manager to lead and manage the entire E-Bike assembly operations. This role involves overseeing the planning, scheduling, and coordination of production activities, ensuring the achievement of quality, cost, and delivery goals. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of relevant experience and the capability to manage a team of 20 personnel effectively. The position demands a hands-on approach to supervising assembly processes involving critical components such as batteries, motors, and wiring while maintaining high standards of safety and quality through strict adherence to standard operating procedures. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Quality Control, and Research and Development to ensure the timely availability of materials and resolve any production issues that arise. The role also requires the person to implement lean manufacturing principles to improve production efficiency, manage inventory optimally, and utilize ERP systems to track production metrics. Training, supervising, and guiding assembly staff to achieve peak performance and continuous professional growth are key responsibilities that demand strong leadership and organizational skills.
Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the planning, scheduling, and coordination of E-Bike assembly operations to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
Monitor and control assembly processes of key components such as batteries, motors, and wiring to guarantee efficiency and product reliability.
Develop, implement and enforce standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and quality control measures to uphold high production standards.
Coordinate with Procurement, Quality Control, and Research and Development teams to ensure the timely availability of materials and quickly address any production challenges.
Train, supervise, and manage a team of 20 assembly staff, including scheduling shifts, conducting performance evaluations, and supporting professional development.
Manage inventory levels to optimize resource utilization, minimize wastage, and maintain smooth production workflow.
Prepare detailed, accurate production reports regularly for senior management review and decision-making.
Apply lean manufacturing techniques to identify and eliminate inefficiencies, thereby improving production throughput and operational excellence.
Utilize ERP systems to monitor production status, inventory, and resource allocation effectively.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to sustain a consistent and reliable workflow.
Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout the production process.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and product quality.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and high performance among the production team.
