Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify and target potential customers through cold calls, emails, and networking.
  • Generate and manage a robust sales pipeline to achieve revenue goals.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate packaging products and solutions.

Account Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Monitor customer accounts to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

Quotation and Negotiation:

  • Prepare and present customized proposals and quotations tailored to client requirements.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Close sales deals while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.

Market Intelligence:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and evolving market demands.
  • Provide actionable feedback to the marketing and product development teams regarding customer preferences and emerging opportunities.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal teams, including production, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless order fulfilment.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement promotional strategies and campaigns.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and order details in CRM systems.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

Experience:

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably within the packaging, manufacturing, or B2B sectors.
  • Familiarity with packaging materials and solutions is an advantage.

technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of order management systems is a plus.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent customer relationship management abilities.
  • Goal-oriented with a passion for achieving and exceeding sales targets.
