This Devops position at Elyscents involves collaborating with software engineers to optimize delivery pipelines and infrastructure scalability. The individual is expected to manage cloud resources effectively using tools like Azure Resource Manager Templates and implement robust monitoring and logging solutions to maintain system health. The role demands strong commitment to infrastructure automation, security best practices, and continuous improvement of deployment processes. Although this position does not manage a team, the candidate plays a critical part in cross-functional collaboration and in driving operational excellence within the organization. A good command of code, with particular emphasis on 'claude code', is a must-have skill to ensure integration with Elyscents' existing systems.
Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable software releases.
Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Azure Resource Manager Templates to provision and configure cloud resources.
Apply Configuration Management techniques to automate environment setup and maintain consistency across development, testing, and production.
Manage cloud infrastructure across platforms including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Deploy and operate container orchestration systems, relying on Kubernetes, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), to manage containerized applications.
Write automation scripts to streamline workflows, reduce manual intervention, and enhance operational efficiency.
Implement build and release management processes to coordinate software delivery activities.
Establish effective monitoring and logging solutions to track system performance, detect issues early, and support troubleshooting efforts.
Ensure infrastructure and deployment processes adhere to security standards and compliance regulations.
Collaborate with software engineering teams to integrate 'claude code' and other application requirements into the deployment pipeline.
Continuously evaluate new DevOps tools, technologies, and best practices to improve infrastructure and deployment processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
Document infrastructure configurations, CI/CD pipelines, and operational procedures for knowledge sharing and audit purposes.
Work independently while coordinating efforts across teams to deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
