Mechanical Design Engineer

Electrosolz is seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join their innovative team. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in SolidWorks and be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing mechanical components and assemblies. This role involves creating detailed 2D drawings and 3D models to support manufacturing and fabrication processes while ensuring designs align with quality, safety, and project requirements. The Mechanical Design Engineer will collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to deliver optimal product designs. This position requires managing a team of five individuals, promoting effective coordination and continuous improvement in design practices. Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with at least two years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates with excellent SolidWorks skills are also encouraged to apply. Strong problem-solving abilities and clear communication are essential to succeed in this dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities

Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models of mechanical parts, assemblies, and sheet metal components using SolidWorks.
Create and prepare manufacturing and fabrication drawings that accurately represent mechanical designs.
Modify and enhance existing product designs to improve functionality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
Coordinate design activities and communicate effectively with production and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components.
Ensure all mechanical designs meet quality standards, safety guidelines, and project specifications.
Manage and provide guidance to a team of five design engineers, fostering collaboration and skill development.
Apply knowledge of sheet metal design, fabrication, machining, and manufacturing processes to produce practical and efficient designs.
Review engineering drawings for accuracy and completeness.
Support product development initiatives by contributing innovative design ideas and technical expertise.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in mechanical design and CAD software.
