Eila Solutions is seeking an experienced and strategic Unit Head HR to lead the human resources function across designated business units. This position involves driving people strategy, enhancing organizational effectiveness, and creating a positive employee experience. The role requires collaboration with business leaders to ensure workforce planning aligns with organizational goals while overseeing talent acquisition, onboarding, and employer branding. The Unit Head will also spearhead digital HR transformation initiatives including the implementation of HRMS, ATS, automation, dashboards, and analytics. With a strong focus on employee engagement, culture, and retention, this role is essential for promoting leadership development, succession planning, and performance management within the company. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in compensation and benefits, payroll coordination, grading structures, and market benchmarking while ensuring strict compliance with labor laws and HR policies. Additional responsibilities include managing employee relations, grievances, investigations, and disciplinary processes. The role also supports organizational restructuring, change management strategies, and promotes diversity, equity, inclusion, and workplace wellbeing. This position requires a master's degree in Human Resources or a related field with over ten years of progressive HR experience, preferably within structured corporate environments, and strong knowledge of HR technology and analytics. Although this role does not involve direct team management, the successful candidate will possess excellent business partnering, stakeholder management, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to influence and guide HR initiatives effectively.
Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement the HR strategy across assigned business units, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and goals.
  • Partner with business heads to conduct workforce planning and enhance organizational effectiveness through strategic HR initiatives.
  • Oversee the talent acquisition process, including leadership hiring, onboarding, and strengthening employer branding efforts.
  • Drive digital transformation within HR by deploying HRMS, ATS, automation tools, and management dashboards to optimize HR operations.
  • Implement and manage performance management systems, learning and development programs, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Foster employee engagement by promoting a positive workplace culture, enhancing retention strategies, and improving overall employee experience.
  • Manage compensation and benefits programs, payroll processes, grading structures, and conduct market benchmarking to ensure competitiveness and fairness.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, HR policies, and statutory requirements to maintain legal and ethical standards.
  • Handle employee relations matters including resolving grievances, conducting investigations, and managing disciplinary actions with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Support organizational restructuring and lead change management initiatives to adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion programs and foster workplace wellbeing initiatives to create an inclusive and supportive work environment.
