EFU Life Assurance Ltd. is seeking an Executive Officer for our Risk Strategy and Oversight team within the Enterprise Risk Management department. This role offers a unique opportunity for fresh graduates who are passionate about risk management to kickstart their careers. The selected individual will play a crucial role in collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework. The position requires a proactive approach to monitoring regulations, best practices, and ensuring compliance within ERM processes. As an Executive Officer, the individual will assist in developing and managing key risk indicators, facilitate risk register development, and conduct risk reviews of critical business processes. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective stakeholder management and successful execution of risk mitigation strategies.
Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to refine and enhance the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure ERM processes remain compliant and effective, adapting to changes promptly.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate the development and maintenance of a comprehensive risk register, accurately capturing and escalating risk information as needed.
  • Develop and manage Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to track and measure potential risks, ensuring timely and effective responses to risk events.
  • Assist in managing the incident reporting module, overseeing the documentation and analysis of incidents to improve risk management practices.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and reviews of critical business processes, identifying vulnerabilities and proposing strategic risk mitigation strategies.
  • Engage in ongoing communication with stakeholders to foster a culture of risk awareness and proactive management throughout the organization.
  • Compile and present risk reports to senior management, ensuring clear communication of risk status and recommendations for improvement.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to support risk management awareness and competence across the organization.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the ERM processes by gathering feedback from stakeholders and implementing enhancements based on industry benchmarks.
