Executive Officer- Oracle Developer

EFU Life Assurance Ltd. is seeking a skilled Executive Officer specializing as an Oracle Developer. This role demands expertise in Oracle Database Management, SQL Query Optimization, and proficiency in Oracle Forms and Reports. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing Oracle-based applications to support business operations. The position requires a minimum of two years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. This role focuses on individual contribution without team management responsibilities but involves frequent collaboration with other IT and business units to ensure the effective functioning of Oracle systems.
Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Oracle Forms and Reports applications to meet business requirements efficiently.
Optimize complex SQL queries and database procedures to enhance system performance and responsiveness.
Monitor and manage Oracle database environments ensuring data integrity and reliability.
Collaborate closely with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions using Oracle technologies.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and underlying databases promptly to minimize downtime.
Implement and test new application functionalities and upgrades in Oracle development environment.
Ensure compliance with company policies and IT security standards during all stages of software development and deployment.
Document technical specifications, process workflows, and configuration details accurately for maintenance and audit purposes.
Stay updated with the latest Oracle development tools, features, and best practices to continuously enhance system capabilities.
Support end-users by providing technical assistance and training on Oracle-based applications as needed.
