EFU Life Assurance Ltd. is seeking a skilled Assistant Manager - Dot Net Developer to join our dynamic technology team. This position requires a motivated professional with 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience working extensively with C#, .NET Core/.NET Framework, and ASP.NET technologies. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline and possesses a strong foundation in software development best practices, including Agile and Scrum methodologies. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain robust web applications and services that align with business objectives and enhance the overall customer experience. The Assistant Manager will focus on implementing scalable and efficient software solutions using the .NET platform while leveraging expertise in SQL Server, Entity Framework, and RESTful API development. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to debug and resolve complex technical issues effectively. Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities are essential for ensuring project success and timely delivery. Although this role does not involve managing a team, the occupant will work collaboratively in an agile environment to support project goals and drive continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality web applications using C#, .NET Core/.NET Framework, and ASP.NET.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and define software requirements.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration with front-end components.
  • Utilize SQL Server and Entity Framework to design and optimize database schemas and queries.
  • Participate in Agile and Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Use Git and Azure DevOps for version control, code review, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
  • Analyze and debug software defects and performance bottlenecks, applying appropriate fixes and optimizations.
  • Document technical specifications, design decisions, and testing outcomes for ongoing knowledge sharing and support.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices in software development.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to support problem-solving and deliverables within agreed timelines.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.
  • Support application scalability and future enhancement initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
