Teller

Ecowears is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Teller to join our team. The Teller plays a critical role in providing excellent customer service while managing various cash-handling tasks accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in a teller or cashier position, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. This position involves managing a team of five persons, requiring leadership skills to ensure smooth branch operations and excellent customer interactions. As a Teller at Ecowears, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, balancing cash drawers, and maintaining security protocols. You will work closely with customers to resolve inquiries, ensure compliance with bank policies, and promote the bank's services. Your focus on accuracy and professionalism will help in building trust and loyalty with clients. Additionally, you will oversee the daily activities of your team, providing guidance and support to maximize productivity and service quality.
Responsibilities

Process daily teller transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, cash payments, and check cashing.
Maintain and balance cash drawers ensuring error-free cash handling and reconciliation at the end of each shift.
Provide friendly, efficient, and professional service to customers, addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with all banking regulations, security policies, and procedural guidelines during transactions and cash handling.
Lead and manage a team of five teller staff, providing training, supervision, and performance feedback to enhance team effectiveness.
Monitor teller systems and equipment, reporting any issues to management and ensuring smooth operation of teller functions.
Promote bank products and services by identifying customer needs and referring suitable offerings to increase customer satisfaction and bank revenue.
Handle cash discrepancies or suspicious activities with discretion and escalate when necessary to maintain financial security.
Coordinate with other departments to facilitate seamless customer service and support branch operations.
Maintain accurate records of transactions and prepare reports as required by management.
