Echo Oil Pvt Ltd is seeking a motivated Area Manager for Retail Development to oversee network expansion and retail growth within the regions of Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Attock, and Chakwal. This role focuses on identifying strategic locations, conducting comprehensive market research, and driving new site acquisitions to strengthen the companys retail presence in the oil marketing sector. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration or a related field and has 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in retail development, specifically with a proven track record in retail network growth.
The Area Manager will play a critical role in advancing business development initiatives by negotiating site acquisitions and executing robust strategies to achieve assigned network expansion targets. This position requires strong analytical abilities to conduct market surveys, traffic counts, and feasibility studies ensuring that potential retail outlets align with company goals. While this role does not include managing a team, it demands excellent communication skills and stakeholder management to foster beneficial partnerships and facilitate smooth project deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate potential locations for new retail outlets based on market research and site analysis.
- Conduct detailed market surveys, traffic counts, and feasibility studies to support decision-making.
- Develop and implement business strategies to increase market presence and network footprint within the assigned region.
- Lead negotiation efforts for site acquisition and business development opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate timely project execution and smooth development of new fuel stations, including greenfield and brownfield projects.
- Achieve network expansion targets by rigorously managing the retail development pipeline from site identification through project completion.
- Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic planning and adapt approaches accordingly.
- Prepare reports and presentations on retail development progress and outcomes for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards during new site development projects.
