Ebook Writer / Editor

We are looking for a versatile and detail-oriented Writer/Editor to join our team full-time at our DHA Phase 5, Karachi office. This role focuses primarily on editing, formatting, and preparing books for audiobook production, while also involving content creation across various formats. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent writing and editing skills, and be comfortable managing a variety of publishing-related tasks. This position requires on-site presence and operates on a night shift schedule, with working hours from 8 PM to 5 AM or 6 PM to 3 AM.

Key Responsibilities
- Review and edit manuscripts to ensure clarity, consistency, and proper formatting tailored specifically for audiobook production.
- Organize and divide manuscripts into sections optimized for smooth narration and production flow.
- Create engaging content for newsletters, press releases, blog posts, and promotional materials.
- Write and optimize product descriptions, blurbs, and marketing copy for Amazon and other audiobook platforms.
- Collaborate closely with the audiobook production team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality output.
- Maintain consistency in tone, grammar, and formatting across all written materials to uphold quality standards.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in writing, editing, and publishing for audiobooks and ebooks.
- Strong command of English grammar, spelling, and style conventions.
- Familiarity with audiobook formatting and publishing processes.
- Ability to adapt writing style for multiple platforms, including blogs, newsletters, press releases, and Amazon listings.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
