Tender & Estimation Engineer (Civil)

The Tender & Estimation Engineer (Civil) will coordinate closely with various stakeholders to ensure the successful submission of tender documents within required timelines. Responsibilities

Prepare comprehensive technical and commercial bid documents tailored to specific civil engineering projects.
Review Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all items are clearly defined.
Perform detailed quantity takeoffs using approved quantity takeoff software to support accurate cost estimation.
Conduct meticulous cost estimation and tender pricing based on current market rates and project scope.
Collaborate efficiently with suppliers and subcontractors to gather reliable pricing information and technical inputs.
Coordinate with the engineering team to verify design specifications and ensure alignment with tender submissions.
Ensure the timely compilation and submission of tender packages in accordance with client requirements and tender guidelines.
Analyze tender documentation and pricing proposals to maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory standards such as PPRA and PEC.
Maintain updated knowledge of industry pricing trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in civil engineering tendering.
Support the preparation of project cost control reports and documentation during the tender phase.
Assist in responding to tender clarifications and negotiations with clients or stakeholders as required.
