Eastern Medical Technology Services is seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join our Rawalpindi Office. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field and brings at least three years of experience specifically in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of medical equipment. This role requires a professional who can provide exceptional customer service while managing technical tasks with precision. The candidate should demonstrate strong problem-solving capabilities and maintain effective communication with clients and colleagues to ensure smooth operation of medical devices. This position involves physically attending to client equipment onsite, performing preventive maintenance, and addressing technical issues promptly. The Service Engineer is responsible for ensuring all medical equipment meets operational standards through accurate diagnostics and repairs. The candidate will be expected to adhere to safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines to preserve equipment functionality and patient safety. Responsibilities
  • Perform installation and commissioning of medical equipment at client facilities in Rawalpindi.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance checks to ensure equipment operates within specified parameters.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using systematic approaches and specialized tools.
  • Execute timely repairs to minimize downtime and maintain functionality of all medical devices.
  • Document service reports accurately detailing work performed, parts used, and any technical issues encountered.
  • Communicate clearly with clients to explain technical problems, solutions, and maintenance procedures.
  • Coordinate with the technical support team to escalate complex issues and share knowledge.
  • Follow safety and compliance standards consistently to protect patients, staff, and equipment.
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools necessary for effective service delivery.
  • Stay updated with latest industry practices and technology advancements relevant to biomedical equipment.
