We are in search of an Accountant with substantial UK-based accounting experience or UK based degree to play a pivotal role in maintaining precise financial records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing top-notch financial guidance to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, update, and reconcile financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger, following UK accounting standards and regulations.
- Ensure full compliance with UK accounting and tax regulations, including VAT, income tax, and other financial reporting obligations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and tax returns in accordance with UK Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (UK GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Facilitate tax planning, advise on tax-efficient strategies, and prepare and file tax returns for clients in line with UK tax laws.
- Collaborate with auditors and facilitate the audit process, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Build strong and lasting relationships with clients by providing expert financial advice and maintaining clear communication.
- Contribute to the development and monitoring of budgets, helping clients control costs and optimize financial resources.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for financial improvement.
- Offer financial guidance to clients and help them make informed decisions regarding their financial affairs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant in the UK with a strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in UK accounting software and MS Excel.
- ACCA, ACA, or other relevant accounting qualifications are preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirement:
- 1 or 2 years of experience Is required
- Fluent in English
- Must be able to commute to Bahria Town Karachi daily
- Must have UK based experience or degree.
