DreamMedia is seeking a skilled Video Editor with a minimum of two years of professional experience to join our creative team. The ideal candidate has expertise in video editing software, color grading, audio editing, and visual effects. This role requires someone who can bring their own creative input to projects while managing time effectively and maintaining a strong work ethic. As a Video Editor at DreamMedia, you will be responsible for assembling raw footage into polished videos that meet company and client standards. You will manage the entire editing process, from selecting clips to enhancing audio and visual effects, ensuring all deliverables are timely and of high quality. Attention to detail and file management skills are critical since you will organize and maintain video assets throughout the project lifecycle. This position does not include managing a team, offering you the opportunity to focus exclusively on refining your craft and contributing creatively to diverse projects.
Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw video footage using industry-standard software to create coherent and visually engaging content.
- Apply color grading techniques to enhance the visual appeal and maintain consistency across projects.
- Perform audio editing to ensure clear, balanced sound quality, including synchronization and noise reduction.
- Incorporate visual effects and graphics to improve storytelling and viewer engagement.
- Manage and organize project files, ensuring all assets are correctly labeled and archived for easy access.
- Collaborate with creative teams and clients to incorporate feedback and align the final product with project objectives.
- Contribute original ideas and creative insights to enhance video content and overall project impact.
