To oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, optimizing financial performance, and supporting strategic decision-making. The Head of Finance/Financial Controller will play a critical role in managing financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving cost efficiency to enhance the profitability of the organization.

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA or ACCA qualification a strong plus).

Experience:

Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior finance role, preferably within the food and beverage industry.

Main Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Accounting:

  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements including Profit & Loss (P&L), balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry best practices.

Financial Planning & Analysis:

  • Develop and implement financial budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
  • Monitor financial performance against budget and provide recommendations for improvement.

Treasury & Cash Flow Management:

  • Manage all aspects of cash flow, including forecasting, collections, and disbursements.
  • Optimize liquidity management to ensure the company meets its financial obligations.

Risk Management & Internal Controls:

  • Perform risk assessments and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure robust financial control and compliance.

Compliance:

  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and timely submission of financial reports and tax filings.

Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the finance department, ensuring efficient and accurate operations.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.

Cost Management:

  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures to improve profitability.
  • Conduct regular reviews of operational expenses and negotiate with vendors to achieve cost efficiencies.
