As a Dispenser, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the stock of medicines and medical equipment according to organizational guidelines. Your role includes keeping daily pharmacy records, preparing consumption documents, and ensuring compliance with medical prescriptions. You will also provide feedback on drug management issues and conduct health promotion training in the community during drug dispensing.

You will ensure quality control of medicines and maintain communication with the medical doctor and pharmacy supervisor regarding stock levels and consumption rates. The role may also involve additional tasks as assigned by the medical doctor or superviso

Responsibilities

Review and verify prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness based on pharmaceutical knowledge.
Prepare and dispense medications adhering strictly to the prescribed dosage and instructions.
Maintain compliance with labeling and packaging guidelines to ensure patient safety and regulatory standards.
Manage the medication dispensing workflow efficiently to optimize service delivery without compromising accuracy.
Maintain accurate records of dispensed medications and prepare reports as required by the company and regulatory bodies.
Assist pharmacists in inventory management, including stock checks and reordering of pharmaceutical supplies.
Provide guidance to patients on medication usage, storage, and potential side effects when applicable.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dispensing area to maintain a professional and compliant environment.
Follow all company policies and procedures related to pharmacy operations and safety measures.
Stay updated with changes in pharmaceutical regulations, drug knowledge, and best practices in dispensing.
