UI/UX Engineer

Dime Republic is seeking a skilled UI/UX Engineer with at least two years of experience to join our innovative design team. The ideal candidate will focus on creating visually appealing and user-centered digital experiences. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design intuitive interfaces and enhance user satisfaction through effective research and iterative design processes. The individual should demonstrate proficiency in user interface design, user experience research, and responsive design techniques to deliver products that meet the needs of diverse users. As a UI/UX Engineer at Dime Republic, you will be responsible for developing design assets using industry-standard tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, and Sketch. You will apply usability testing and prototyping methods to validate design decisions and optimize workflows. The position requires strong visual design capabilities and an understanding of design systems to maintain consistency across multiple platforms. This role does not include team management responsibilities but requires effective collaboration skills to partner with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities

Design and develop user interfaces that are visually appealing, intuitive, and user-friendly across various devices and platforms.
Conduct user experience research to gather insights about user needs, behaviors, and pain points to inform design decisions.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts clearly to stakeholders and development teams.
Develop and maintain design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across all digital products.
Perform usability testing sessions to identify usability issues and incorporate feedback to improve overall user experience.
Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to align design solutions with business goals and technical constraints.
Implement responsive design principles ensuring seamless user experiences on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Iterate on designs based on quantitative data, user feedback, and analytics to continuously enhance product usability.
Stay updated with industry trends, techniques, tools, and emerging technologies in UI and UX design to bring innovation into projects.
Advocate for the user by balancing user needs and business objectives throughout the product development lifecycle.
