Junior Laravel Developer

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Junior Laravel Developer to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our digital solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and improve features using PHP, Laravel, MySql, and RESTful APIs. You will also get exposure to modern tools and technologies that help drive innovation in the development process.

Key Responsibilities:

Work on feature development, bug fixes, and performance improvements in our existing software solutions built on the Laravel framework.
Collaborate with Backend Developers, Frontend Developers, Senior Developers, and Project Manager to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs to ensure smooth communication between frontend and backend systems, enabling efficient software operations.
Engage in team-driven side projects aimed at improving system scalability, security, and user experience, while enhancing your own skills.
Identify and troubleshoot issues, implement solutions quickly, and ensure minimal downtime for users and smooth operation of the platform.

Requirements:

Minimum bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or a related field from an HEC-recognized institution.
Relevant certifications are a plus.
1 to 2 years of hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel for web development.
Solid understanding of MySQL database and the ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance.
Strong concepts of OOP and DSA.
Experience working with RESTful APIs, both consuming and building them, ensuring robust communication between services.
Knowledge of version control tools such as Git and the ability to manage branches and code merges effectively.
Basic understanding of frontend technologies like React, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 is a plus.
Experience with MVC architecture, ORM (Eloquent), Blade templating engine, and middleware in Laravel.
Understanding of authentication, authorization, and role-based access control (RBAC) in Laravel.
Familiarity with queues, event broadcasting, and task scheduling in Laravel.
Exposure to unit testing and test-driven development (TDD) with PHPUnit and Laravel Dusk.
Experience with APIs authentication methods such as OAuth and JWT.
Experience with Unit Testing in Laravel.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP or DigitalOcean..
Understanding of WebSocket and real-time data with Laravel and technologies like Pusher.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
