We are seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic Cybersecurity Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the field of cybersecurity and a passion for teaching. As a Cybersecurity Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging course material, fostering a secure learning environment, and helping students develop the competencies required for a successful career in cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deliver cybersecurity course content, including lectures, labs, assignments, and assessments.
- Provide mentorship and support to students, guiding them through complex concepts and practical applications.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and up-to-date.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to facilitate continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the curriculum development team to enhance course offerings and instructional methods.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching cybersecurity courses or substantial professional experience in the cybersecurity industry.
- In-depth knowledge of network security, ethical hacking, threat analysis, incident response, and other key cybersecurity domains.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible manner.
- Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
