Cost Accountant

You will be responsible for analyzing and managing cost data to support decision-making, while also leading internal audit processes to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. This role requires a deep understanding of cost accounting, internal audits, and compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze, monitor, and report on production costs, overheads, and variances to support business decisions.
Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and processes.
Conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and adherence to company policies.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, corporate policies, and industry standards.
Prepare and review reports for management, identifying opportunities for cost-saving and efficiency improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cost structures and operational processes.
Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Monitor inventory levels and perform inventory valuation in accordance with accounting standards.
Identify risks and recommend measures to improve internal controls and compliance processes.
Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and compliance regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of three to five years of experience in cost accounting, internal audits, or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, internal auditing standards, and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
