Inventory Officer

Dawat-e-Islami Trust is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Officer to manage daily inventory operations and ensure accuracy within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This role requires maintaining precise records of stock movement across General and Kitchen warehouses, supporting procurement activities, and coordinating warehouse operations with various departments. The Inventory Officer plays a key role in issuing and receiving inventory, updating ERP data, and supporting stock availability for daily functions and events. This opportunity is ideal for a candidate with 1 to 2 years of experience in inventory or warehouse management who is proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications. The position demands strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with supply chain management, facility management, and related teams to ensure seamless warehouse operations. The Inventory Officer is responsible for conducting monthly stocktaking, preparing demand and consumption reports, and ensuring compliance with warehouse policies and safety protocols. This role does not include team management but expects the candidate to work efficiently within a structured shift system, demonstrating reliability and attention to detail.
Responsibilities

Issue and receive inventory items, accurately updating ERP records including MR, MIN, MRN, PR, and GRN.
Conduct monthly stocktaking to verify inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies.
Coordinate activities with various departments to maintain smooth and efficient warehouse operations.
Prepare detailed demand and consumption reports to assist procurement and operational planning.
Monitor stock availability to ensure uninterrupted support for daily operations and special events.
Collaborate closely with Supply Chain Management, Facility Management, and other concerned departments to optimize inventory flow.
Maintain proper organization within warehouses including racking, tagging, and accurate documentation of all inventory items.
Ensure adherence to warehouse policies, safety standards, and shift schedules, fostering a safe and compliant working environment.
Support procurement procedures by providing accurate stock data and timely reporting.
Utilize inventory management systems and warehouse management software to track and control stock.
Assist in troubleshooting inventory discrepancies and recommend improvements to inventory control processes.
Work flexibly in rotational shifts to support continuous warehouse coverage.
