Budgeting Manager

The Budgeting Manager works closely with senior management to provide insights and recommendations that drive financial stability and support strategic decision-making. Expertise in financial tools and excellent communication skills are essential to excel in this role.
Responsibilities

Prepare and manage the organizations annual and departmental budgets ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Monitor and review budget utilization and overall financial performance regularly.
Analyze financial data to produce accurate budget forecasts and identify trends.
Ensure all budgeting activities comply with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Prepare detailed budget variance reports and provide actionable recommendations to correct deviations.
Coordinate interdepartmental collaboration for effective budget planning and approval processes.
Support management in financial planning and implement cost control initiatives to optimize expenditure.
Develop, enhance, and maintain budgeting processes and financial reporting systems for improved accuracy and efficiency.
Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of 30 budgeting and financial planning professionals to achieve operational excellence.
Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance team capabilities in budgeting and financial analysis.
Facilitate communication between finance and other departments to ensure timely data collection and reporting.
Identify opportunities to automate budgeting tasks and improve reporting through advanced software tools.
Ensure timely delivery of financial reports and budget documents to senior leadership.
Assist in conducting audits and financial reviews related to budgeting and expenditure control.
Stay updated on industry best practices in budgeting and financial management to continually improve processes.
