Data Intern

A client organization is seeking a detail-oriented Data Intern to support the preparation and quality assurance of datasets used for AI model training, testing, and evaluation. This full-time, onsite position based in Karachi offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data annotation and preprocessing. Key Responsibilities
- Clean, organize, and structure datasets for AI and custom model projects.
- Label and annotate diverse data types, including text, images, and documents, following established guidelines.
- Conduct thorough reviews of datasets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness through quality checks.
- Identify and resolve issues such as duplicate, incorrect, incomplete, or low-quality data entries.
- Categorize and maintain data in a standardized and organized format for easy access and usability.
- Perform basic data validation and preprocessing to prepare datasets for AI applications.
- Keep accurate records of annotation and data-cleaning activities.
- Adhere strictly to project-specific data standards and quality guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with AI and technical teams to promptly address any data-related challenges.

Required Qualifications
- Final year student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in handling data.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills to manage and process datasets efficiently.
- Ability to follow structured instructions and annotation guidelines with precision.
- Basic understanding of datasets and principles of data management.
- Comfortable using tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, CSV files, or similar software for data handling.
- Demonstrated interest in AI, machine learning, and data-driven technologies.
