We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Data Entry Operator specializing in supplier management and global sourcing. The successful candidate will have strong analytical abilities and experience working with international marketplaces. This role focuses on generating sourcing leads, conducting marketplace research, and evaluating suppliers to support efficient procurement operations. The position requires close collaboration with suppliers and internal teams, along with occasional market visits. This is an in-person role based in Lahore, offering a competitive monthly salary.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate sourcing leads across international markets to identify potential suppliers and products.
- Conduct comprehensive marketplace research on platforms such as Amazon and others to stay informed about trends and opportunities.
- Source products through Alibaba and similar platforms to ensure a diverse supplier base.
- Evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability to maintain high standards.
- Maintain accurate data, reports, and sourcing sheets using Excel to support informed decision-making.
- Provide support for UK market operations, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Coordinate effectively with suppliers and internal teams to facilitate smooth procurement processes.
- Conduct market visits when necessary to assess suppliers and products firsthand.
Required Qualifications
- Less than 1 year of experience in sourcing or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools to manage data efficiently.
- Good communication and negotiation skills to interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central is preferred, enhancing the ability to navigate marketplace platforms.
- Work schedule is from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturdays off.
- The position is based at a central location in Lahore and requires in-person attendance.
- Monthly salary ranges from Rs40,000 to Rs50,000, commensurate with skills and experience.
