The Data Entry Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate input, updating, and maintenance of data within various computer systems and databases. This position requires a keen eye for detail, fast and accurate typing skills, and strong organizational capabilities. The successful candidate will handle large volumes of information efficiently while maintaining data integrity and confidentiality in line with company protocols and data privacy standards. Additionally, the role involves supporting administrative tasks and adapting to new data entry systems or software as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately input data into multiple systems, databases, and spreadsheets while maintaining and updating records with new or corrected information. Ensure the completeness and accuracy of data by following established procedures and conducting routine audits to identify and correct errors. Verify data accuracy by cross-referencing source documents before entry and perform data cleanup activities to maintain integrity. Organize and store data for easy retrieval, including filing both physical documents and electronic files appropriately. Assist in managing document archives and retrieval systems. Generate reports and compile data summaries as requested by supervisors or management. Support data analysis efforts by summarizing findings or generating insights. Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to company policies and data privacy guidelines when handling data. Provide general administrative support, including assisting with customer inquiries and filing. Assist with the implementation and adaptation of new data entry systems or software to improve efficiency.
Required Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory, while an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Candidates should have proven experience in data entry, clerical roles, or similar positions. Typing speed is expected to be between 40 to 60 words per minute or higher. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy is essential, along with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in office software and database management tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, Excel, or specialized software is required. Effective written and verbal communication skills are also necessary to perform the role successfully.

This is a full-time, in-person position located in DHA Phase 6, Lahore. The starting salary for this role is Rs40,000 per month.
