D Educationist is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Student Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting students' academic and personal development by providing guidance and counseling services. This position requires at least 1.5 years of experience and a deep understanding of the education systems in Pakistan. The Student Counselor will engage in active listening, assess student needs, and offer career and personal guidance to help students overcome academic and social challenges. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective counseling and documentation. The Student Counselor will work independently without managing a team, focusing on maintaining confidentiality and fostering an inclusive environment for all students. The role involves analyzing student data to identify trends and inform counseling strategies. The successful candidate will use various data collection, analysis, and presentation tools to deliver information clearly and effectively to students, parents, and institutional stakeholders.
Responsibilities

  • Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions to support students academic, career, and personal development.
  • Assess student needs through interviews, observations, and data analysis to develop individualized support plans.
  • Provide accurate career guidance aligned with students goals and the education system in Pakistan.
  • Manage confidential student records and ensure all information is documented accurately and securely.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administration to support student well-being and academic success.
  • Use data collection and analysis tools to track student progress and identify areas for intervention.
  • Prepare technical and counseling reports to document sessions, outcomes, and recommendations.
  • Design and deliver presentations to educate students and parents about counseling services and academic pathways.
  • Stay updated on educational policies and practices relevant to Pakistan to inform counseling approaches.
  • Develop strategies to address common student issues such as stress, motivation, and career indecision.
  • Facilitate workshops and group sessions to promote personal development and career planning.
