Cybat is seeking a skilled Odoo Developer with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join and lead a small team of 2 professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python programming and hands-on expertise in the Odoo framework, including backend development, module creation, and ERP deployment. This role demands comprehensive knowledge of PostgreSQL database management, Odoo ORM, and version control systems such as Git. The developer will contribute to both backend and frontend customizations, leveraging technologies like XML for defining views and the OWL framework for frontend enhancements in Odoo 17 and above. As a team lead, the Odoo Developer will oversee the development lifecycle from design to deployment and maintenance, ensuring high-quality code and seamless integration with client requirements. The developer will collaborate closely with stakeholders to enhance the ERP systems functionalities while managing and mentoring team members. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, expertise in Odoos security and workflow mechanisms, and the ability to maintain code versioning and deployment standards effectively.
Responsibilities

Develop and customize Odoo modules using Python and the Odoo framework to meet client requirements.
Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including writing efficient queries and understanding ORM interactions.
Design and implement Odoo views such as forms, trees, and kanban boards using XML.
Customize frontend components using JavaScript and the OWL framework for enhanced user experience.
Apply knowledge of Odoo ORM to implement models, fields, inheritances, and security rules.
Lead and mentor a small development team, providing guidance on best coding practices and project workflows.
Maintain source code using Git, managing version control across development cycles.
Deploy and maintain Odoo ERP systems ensuring stability, performance, and security in production environments.
Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, provide technical solutions, and support post-deployment issues.
Ensure adherence to software development methodologies and documentation standards within the team.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the Odoo framework and related technologies.
