We are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our dynamic team remotely for our retail business, Mango Island Smoke Shop. The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in understanding, analyzing, and improving various aspects of our business operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, enabling them to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes. The Business Analyst will work closely with managers to identify business needs, gather and document requirements, and assist in the development and implementation of solutions to enhance overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Camera Surveillance
- Sales Monitoring
- Coordinating with the employees, suppliers, and vendors
- Troubleshooting employees queries
- Bookkeeping
- Purchase orders management
- Customer Service
- Social media management & designing
- And/or any other tasks assigned by the manager
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Create meaningful reports and visualizations to support decision-making.
- Evaluate existing business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
- Recommend and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design solutions that address business challenges.
- Create detailed specifications, including functional and non-functional requirements.
- Foster strong working relationships with the team at all levels.
- Assist in project planning, monitoring, and tracking to ensure the successful implementation of initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 1+ years of relevant work experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and social media tools (e.g., Excel, Canva, etc).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with business process modeling and improvement techniques.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and work in a fast-paced environment.
Time Commitment:
- 5 days a week.10 hours each day. 50 hours a week
- Salary shall be prorated based on productive hours
- 2 months of probation period for evaluation
- Performance evaluation for a salary increment shall be after the first 6 months
