Officer Network Support

Crescent Bahuman Limited is seeking a dedicated Officer Network Support professional to provide essential technical assistance and network support within our IT infrastructure. The incumbent plays a critical role in maintaining the stability, security, and performance of the company's network systems. This person handles network troubleshooting, offers user assistance for network-related issues, and ensures comprehensive documentation and reporting practices. The role demands meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple support requests efficiently without direct team management responsibilities. The Officer Network Support will undertake routine network maintenance, wireless network configuration, and ICT asset management to support the company's operational needs. Documenting all technical activities, maintaining asset inventories, and utilizing ticketing systems to track issues and resolutions are crucial components of this position. The candidate should bring a foundational understanding of network support principles, combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving, thereby contributing to the smooth running of Crescent Bahuman Limited's network environment.
Responsibilities

Provide basic network support and assist users in resolving network connectivity issues across hardware and software platforms.
Perform network troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve issues related to wired and wireless network configurations and performance.
Configure and maintain wireless network access points and ensure secure network connections following best practices.
Conduct regular technical documentation and record-keeping to track network configurations, incidents, and resolutions accurately.
Manage ICT assets and maintain comprehensive inventory records to ensure accountability and proper resource allocation.
Utilize ticketing systems to log, prioritize, and monitor support requests, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
Collaborate with other IT staff to escalate complex network problems as necessary while providing clear documentation and technical details.
Implement network security protocols to protect data integrity and prevent unauthorized access to company resources.
Maintain organized workflows capable of managing multiple simultaneous requests without compromising quality or accuracy.
Stay updated on the latest networking technologies and best practices to continually improve support effectiveness and network reliability.
